Becky Gildersleeve has a degree in International Relations from Johns Hopkins and studied Foreign Affairs at UVA. During her years in Charlottesville she has worked in res
earch and editing at the Miller Center of Public Affairs, the Center for National Security Law and the Center for Oceans Law and Policy.
She has served as the Residential Shelter Manager at the Shelter for Help in Emergency, has been a hotline volunteer for the Sexual Assault Resource Agency, and has been a Development Associate for Cancer Programs at UVA. She is a tutor with Literacy Volunteers of Charlottesville/Albemarle and is a member of the Friends of CASA committee.
She was raised in Loudoun County, Virginia, but spent her summers with family in Louisiana.
